The most impressive PP chronograph in terms of finishing.
Once seen all the other chrono movements fall short.
Case shape, steel, unusual complication, very thin movement, and on top of that...STEALTH!
I have many watches on my list that I would buy if I won the lottery, but this is at the very top.
The rest of you may see 30 beautiful Patek chronographs...
but I only see one! (I bet you can guess which one I mean)
As great as they are (incl. the 5370P!), I'm partial to the 5970's complete package. Still remains my Patek grail.

Hi christianch, good observation ! The cardboard box is
quite interesting because they are no longer allowed to be kept by collectors.
Why pick one metal?
Get them all! Based on packaging I'm guessing 4 or 5 collectors? Quite the collection of chronos. Thanks for sharing!

FYI, 3 collectors contributed most of the watches.
If there are 4 attendees in your GTG
Then I can sense each attendee having their own Patek Chrono theme, ranging from leather to modern to vintage! Awesome GTG!

do you like about the piece ! Naturally I agree with you that 5970J London Edition is a grail ! FYI, 4 participants for this GTG with 3 contributing most of the 30 pieces BTW, thanks for your suggestions for the theme of the next GTG
Gordon, thanks for your reply. What I like about 5950A is that it perfectly combines a vintage appeal with a delightfully shaped case.
Also, it has a classically inspired dial. But underneath that dial is a highly complex and desirable complication housed in a very thin modern movement. All that plus steel and matching steel bracelet. Oh yes, forgot one important factor… it is beautiful!...
What a great experience to be able to play with so many beautiful Patek chronographs in one event.....
Thanks for showing us all these wonderful watches. My favorite pieces are the 2 London Grand Exhibition LEs, 5950A and 5370P.
