Patek Philippe

That's a tough question!

Well, I would suggest to have a look at the following elements closely (and after a few visits to see them):

- The movements which are quite very different in decoration and construction. Aside from the style, it is the main difference to have a look at in the mechanical part interests you.

- The coating of the dial and the way the color appears is something very different as well.

As for the whole case and bracelet parts, they are imho on the same level, very nice finishing and craft mastery and it is more a matter of personal taste.

The Nautilus is a little more on the Chic side of the  Sport-Chic line while the RO is sportier. Both very elegant, very interesting craftmanship (alternative brushed and polished surfaces etc...).

Furthermore, the RO is 50m water resistance (if I don't make a mistake) while the 5711 si 120m if you consider playing in the water with the watch.

Anyway, both very very appealing choices and a great project. Now my advice is to take your time in order to feel the one you will like on the longer run, that's how I do when I hesitate too much and can't decide. You can think about how you'll wear it and with which clothes for instance....

Cheers, Mark
