an after payment the nice UPS courier brought it in a day. The shop received the payment yesterday, stamped and dated the Certificate and today early afternoon I got the watch. I'll take some better pictures because I want to show how nicely the grey croc...

Definitely better looking than the yellow gold version in my opinion. Also I prefer when a watch has a clean dial layout and I am not a fan of the 5960 aside from the blue dial - but that's just for the color. Best, Stan

Chronograph is not my favourite complication but those Breguet numerals are really hitting my sweet spot. I recently tried a 5940J, a reference that is never really discussed here but I like it a lot. Not so sure about the font on the sub-dials but again ...

This dial is one of the most beautiful that came out of patek in awhile. Congrates and wear it well. Best Iceman

Great watch and I'm waiting for snapshots with grey crocodile strap. + with dark grey suit and light blue or white shirt. The only thing which is stops me from buying this watch is the shape of hands

For me the hands are okay and what impresses me is the movement and Breguet numbers. Furthermore, I am very happy with the grey (made-to measurements) strap I ordered already months ago. Nothing is perfect. For me the main thing is the overall impression....

Congrats Kari! I agree with you, I would rather have 5140 and 5170 than 5270 if owning all 3 is not an option. I love my 5170J.

now and to be honest, I think it was a miracle that I managed to resist this watch for 6 months. The size is perfect but that I knew already. The dial with Breguet numbers is also perfect. But what I enjoy most is the fantastic movement; the feeling when ... 

Do you have the feeling that Holy Grail finally had been found? And do you think this great watch could be a dayly wearing watch? One of the great criteria for dayly wear watch is that you dont need to amend anything. No date, no month, no year. Just a ti... 

However, I am wearing my 5170G even now and it is perfect. So readable, so slim, very comfortable, understated and it is a great pleasure to give the power plus operate the chronograph. I have, like you might guess, a couple of decent watches. Naturally, ...

"Gradué pour 15 pulsations" means "calibrated for 15 pulsations"; pulsations i.e. heart beats. Find a pulse, start chronograph, stops after counting 15 heart beats, read heart rate from scale as indicated by chronograph hand. Really useful stuff. Best, St... 

Very useful and interesting function. Just wonder when PP first time introduced it and what was the first model of PP with this function. Another point is funny - if it's doctor' watch then there two conclusions could be done - some time ago PP chrono was... 

Ref. 130 and the first one I know is from 1934, if we talk about PP. The oldest (wrist) watch with a Pulsometer scale I could find was from a brand called Morrow and it was from 1925. Best, Oliver

(1936 year) with Roman digits.... Fantastic And two years later, in 1938 PP introduced Model 538 And i would like to notice that with luminous hands and figures in Steel case. And look at this terrific world-timer with pulse-counter and asthmometer... M...

Take it. You will not regret. I must say that it is very a very special feeling to wear 5170G. I can't remember that I would have felt this good before. The only problem is that I have to check the watch all the time. My daughter's boyfriend had a dinner ... 

Don't you think that we are still kids, big, old, wrinkled, but still kids;)

It's quite pricey, to be honest for 3 books. 960 Euro or so. ...  

but to get the third one I was asked to get all three :- ( ) It was not possible to get only the third after purchasing the first two before ... rediculous comes to my mind. They are nice, but not nice enough ... Best, Oliver

When buying the watch, I did not realize how perfect it is. Naturally I knew the beauty of the movement after buying 5170J but the beauty of the dial of 5170G is something very special. The size is perfect and the watch is also incredibly slim taking into...
