I love its dimensions, case shape and dial layout. IMO, the sub-dials are much nicer than those of 5270. This 5970P with the in-house movement of 5270 would be a dream. Best, Volker

And P is my least favourite 5970. I’ve spent a lot of time with them all and the G Salmon and R is what do it for me. The Plat case black dial just doesn’t work for me. As you know I only let my eyes and heart make my decisions never my head. In my opinio...

Great wrist presence and coolness to this piece. Legibility is probably the weak point but again, with this strapped on it is Patek time no matter what time or date it is!

....just on the quality of that reworked picture.....absolutely superb
