So this new 5711/1A is a regular production and not the rumor end of line model?

Yes, I will know more as soon as I receive all the press material and after Monday's meeting, but as far as I can tell, this is indeed NOT a limited edition and will enter the regular catalog! ;-) Looks terrific, green indeed seems a big 2021 color :-)

It is clear from their press release 2021 will be the last production year of 5711/1A.

That's how I read it too: should production of the 5711/1300A (in fact, of any non-5711/1A reference) extend beyond 2021, that would *not* contradict the language of this document👍

I would think the offer/demand ratio will still be higher than for the /1A, and so your odds, though of course it’s anybody’s guess at this time...wish you the best of luck!👍🥂

I am guessing it is no mean feat to apply those stones in that steel bezel.

+1, Patek’s gemsetting ability is very much at the top, it’s enough to compare with any of the aftermarket jobs that we see sometimes to realize how superior their craft is...definitely worth a significant delta in MSRP in my opinion👍🥂

Yes, this green version is the one that is closing out the *5711* series, so it is definitely the same (change in dial only in one version, plus addition of the diamonds on the bezel in the other).

Indeed, while I guess this new 5711 was going to be a blast no matter its dial color, it looks like 2021 has started out "very green"! :-) We'll certainly see more during the next few days (and nights! :-))

For sure both the green 5711 and the 5990/1R will be extremely hard to get, I think there's no doubt about it...but I agree it will be interesting to see how the broader Nautilus market reacts after the introduction of these two iterations! ;-) Cheers.

Yes, I would assume it is the same fold-over clasp as the previous iteration👍

Alas I wished they switched to the new “double clasp” of the 5740G, 7118 and Aquanauts ... its so much more practical and hardy

My pleasure, and I believe you are correct -- no updates to the clasp with the respect to the earlier model.

Here are the official MSRPs of the four versions, which are also available on Patek's website. (According to this document, which I just received, Ref. 7118 will appear in both R and G. I'm sure Patek's site will soon report it as well.)

Yep, I received these prices directly from Patek, and are essentially the same as those available on the official site (+/- $3, for some reason :-)

The green looks great and seems to not be as matte as the green on the 5168G

Thanks for commenting and good observation, I believe this olive green is different from both the 5168 in the regular catalog and the earlier 5167A limited edition. It also "never existed before in the Nautilus collection." Cheers ;-)

The 5711/1A-014 is the farewell series of the 5711/1A (produced for a very limited period of time only).
