i totally agree with you. What stroke me the 1st day ( 1st night ) i wore my 5270G, was that in very low light conditions, i could read it perfectly!
2 reasons for that : The texture of the dial "sucked" the little light available.... and the markers and hands pop up very strongly.
Really not need for luminous hands and markers.
Something else, but that is very personal, i realized that i got bored of dials and watches that don't have any contrast. I need details to pop up in a glimse. It goes from simple details in the dial such as hands and markers, to stronger contrast like a platinum case and blue dial like on 5960P or 5070P 5970P, etc...
I had a chance to get the 5204P, but again, not so sure because of the change of hands and markers... And the "dry" white dial.
I think we'll have other interesting ahead, not need to rush every time we have an opportunity to get a nice watch. Got to be picky.
A limited edition 5270G
Just curious if anyone knows anything about a 50 piece only limited edition of 5270G? The complete reference number is 5270G-015, and it is supposed to come with a different dial. What is the cause of this celebrated creation? And how do you like it compa...

.... it is very unlikely that Patek makes it a limited edition. Patek never makes limited except for commemoration of an AD or anniversaries. Advanced research are their limited edition only model.
Final Review
Bulliondesk and I looked at it next to his 5270G last night. They would have to change the location of the chromos in the movement to get the tach's to fit. They just cant change the dial. Movement alignment doesn't match.

Wrong Analysis: Technically Impossible Dial
It is not possible that Patek will launch such a dial on a chronograph. The arc at 6 o'clock does not correspond to the proper time interval which will make a minute longer then 60 seconds i.e., traveling a longer distance (and obviously the second hand w...

Since the 5204 is a true application piece (at least at this point), can you have the dial changed before you take delivery? to some contrast colors or whatever you prefer!

They are literally dumping already made 5270G. ADs are not taking what is made to Jan. These watches are sitting in Geneva. They are literally changing the dials on overstock. Has nothing to do with Movements. They can put that movement in any perp calend...
