Well Joe, the least we can say is that your have the talent to excite our watch purchase frenzy. Well, there are many Patek watches a majority of people here love that I don't like as they don't echo to me. It is just a question of feeling I don't want to...  

.....nobody has a monopoly on good taste....we all like things for whatever reason. So, this is just about giving vent to what rings YOUR bell....and no justifications required. I think we all look at a purchase with a view to how it fits with our overall... 

that's also the beauty of the exercize (and of this forum): see from others' perspective to have (sometime) a different view on watches. I fully understand your 5070/5970 challenge. I noticed the same thing about some of mine in the past (or some I could ...

Just one 5100G, and I would be happy. If I was veeery greedy, I would add a 3417. Then, I would be very happy. No need to go till 5! Best, Nicolas

with 5 gorgeous watches, each among the best in their category. ... and they couldn't be more different from each others, so the variety is a richness that should fill as much as possible your appetite from watches

I can certainly see the 5550p. I really do love that watch. I would most definitely take that as part of my five. 5200? No. My wrist is too small. I have tried it on and it looks ridiculous. That's why I take the 5124 as it fits the smaller wrist better.

This is just a personal choice based on what I like and what, to me, looks great. Unlike some, I do not have orgasms over many of the popular models like the 5131. I also do not find any of the perpetuals or grand complications that desirable. So even if ...

... there is a row above that i hope will be filled with 5711P, 5235G, 5170(P), 5970P, 5131J. All very different from the 1st row, and close cousins. Then we'll have a nice big family ;)

.... actually those 2 are very very special watches. They stand apart. Next should be the 5235G if all goes well.... ;)

My five would be 1- 5970g 2- 5070j 3- 5100p 4- 3712 1/a 5- 5131j I own 1-4 and have 5 on order

One could only aim... 1 - Grand Complication - PP 5204, PP 5078, PP 5079, or PP 5207 (dream list - grail watches) 2 - Complication - PP 5970j (current) or PP 5970p (wish list) 3 - Sports watch on a bracelet - Rolex Daytona (current) or PP 5980 Nautilus Ch... 

I can see a reason for each of those in the 5. Cohesive choices. Like it.

You can take a Calatrava 5196Platin, a 5205g Annual Calendar and a special Nautilus 3711 in 37.. serie but completly in white gold... 500 pieces in the world Compliment a Beautiful collection..

....the 5196 or 5205, but like I said on Nautilus, I am just not a fan of the reference. On the other two, I would prefer the 5196 in P for sure. However, having said this, I feel i probably miss a world time. The 5131 is not to my taste for a few silly r...

Chris, I am just not a fan of the Nautilus. I won't be rude about it, but it just doesn't work for me. On 3970 - yes, I can see that. But when I chose the 5070p over the 5970p, I made the decision that if I was to take a chrono, it would be the 5070. The ... 

I cannot pick only 5. I would need to choose at least 10. :)

For me: 5270 Series 1 5235G 5960P Black 5131J 5131G 5070P 5970P 5100P I need 8, but I am making good progress!

And seeing as you have skinny wimp wrists I'd go with a 5110 and a 35-36 mm calatrava Options include the modern with enamel dial , or you could go vintage I would go vintage , perhaps something you don't see regularly Best Imran ;)
