Rare 5711/1A Dial
Hello Guys!
I'm glad to say that I have purchased my first Patek Philippe and I am more than pleased. If you look at my dial, it is clear that it is different to the regular 5711/1A, as it is more grey and the ribbing pattern is different. With further research, I have found out that my 5711's reference is the 5711/1A-001, instead of the conventional blue dialed 5711/1A-010. The watch was made in 2009 and still bears the Geneva Hallmark. What are your thoughts? Which dial do you guys like better!?

It's clear that the dial is much more grey than the regular 5711/1A. I personally prefer this dial much more than the regular 5711/1A. It's very apparent that the ribbing is extremely different on this dial as it is on the regular 5711/1A.

Recently another PuristS made a post regarding the same style on his dial. Would be great if we could find out the answer regarding the different patterns on the 5711s. Perhaps the difference stems from the year of production ? FYI, the other post www....

Surely not on a new watch. If it is, it will leave me cold. Could it really be another boo boo by Patek or is it a reflection of a smudge from the crystal? The dial is beautiful though.
