My AD send a nice gift to my friends sometimes if I say to him I have a real good friend who like what kind of gift. one condition is he or she must be a real good friend. Of course, AD needs business.
Think this way, how many good friends send a nice gift to you when your birthday is coming. I do not real receive a gift from friends on my birthday, But I receive gifts from credit card company, department store and other companies.
Last time I visited NY PP AD. I received some nice books , but I do not buy anything. People are different. I visited NY Patek Philippe exhibition, A lady on the reception on upper floor did not welcome my family ,but she talked to many visitors. I went there every day, but We did not wear any PP. Maybe this is a reason That we are not welcome there. This is a bad memory for us about PP.

I have purchased 5 new Pateks since 2013 but my collection of gifts is not even half of yours!!! Perhaps my AD is not as generous as yours but to be honest I am very happy with my UK AD, gifts or no gifts!
I have more gifts that I do not show them all.
You should be happy if you have half of my gifts and you said you bought 5 watches.

as I would like to think it is the prerogative of the AD to decide which gift(s) go to which customer. Thanks for the suggestion though.

It is not difficult to get a gift.
As I understand, with one single watch purchase. You should be able to ask a gift. At least my AD will do it. I remember I got two gifts from London salon with two watches purchase, not real expensive watches.

Agree with your daughter, Birkins can last very long, but an enamel Patek is of course in a different league --- and eventually it might even be passed down to her own daughter... Plus, a 5077 may be worth up to 5 or 6 Birkins, so I also agree on the math...
