Nice but ...

As everyone said, it is difficult to deny a lot of charm to this new watch, especially when you look at the back as the movement is the same basis as the latest QP in line, but i have found 2 major drawbacks for me :
1- the day / month windows are too small (being 45+) i have found the day / month difficult to read especially when compared to the 5320 (which i own) or the 5270 (which i love)
2- the price … ouch. PP has clearly been quite heavy on the 2022 pricing (I have already made the same remark regarding the 5231G which is 20% more expensive compared to the 5231J …) … We are close to the price of a QP here and that was also a stop for me.
Despite those 2 points I m sure this will be a massive hit together with the little Calatrava sister but I will pass on those ones (and may regret it later ..:p)

The new ref 5326 - annual calendar with travel time

The standout, for me, amongst the latest releases from Patek, is the ref. 5326. This has to be the most practical watch they have released in quite some time; automatic winding with annual calendar and travel time. The Travel Time function can be adjusted...

100% agree. This might be the perfect every day Patek. The dial is not for me, so I’ll anxiously await the second version.

Very much in agreement regarding the interest of this reference, it's technically a major novelty with several new patents required for an entirely new AC & TT combo (see also its dedicated press releases from the other thread and the technical video)!

Imagine if this was in a new Nautilus as well with a GREEN dial?!? So in addition to the 5726...now you have one that has also a TT and Annual !!

I also think this new PP is very appealing — I might even warm up to the dial color — but, tend to agree about seeing something lighter in the future.

I agree...very nice. The broad, flat bezel is a bit of a let-down; and the hobnail work on the side of the case is a real head-scratcher.

Not sure if everyone saw this review on the watch but it explains how setting the date and time is simultaneous so when traveling do not need to worry that setting the travel time will need to set the calendar as well. See link:

The watch is great but I wish they would have finished with a contemporary not retro finish.

Fully agree - The retro look is, for me, a deal killer - especially the beige fauxtina lume. And 42 hour power reserve - not so practical.

I actually like the granular finishing of the dial, just like the vulcanite covering on a Leica M camera. Only wish the case and especially the lugs are a tad thinner. The 31-260 caliber inside is truly fantastic.

At 41mm, I think it's too large. The complications are absolutely the most practical and I love the layout. For me if this was 39mm, even 40mm, and had a black date window like the time-only version, it would be a home run.
