Prefer the size of the 5970, but the case “mini 2499” is a big big plus on the 3970 If they had made the 3970 38mm my God it would be going for unrivalled success

they are very different watches with a different type of appeal. A while back I had both 3970 and 5970. It seemed that once I acquired the 5970, I pretty much stopped wearing the 3970, in favor of wearing the 5970. I wondered why that was. Clearly the 397...

My choice would be the 3970P. I was eying one last month but I did not pull the trigger. It had the diamond markers and black dial. I will continue to look. Btw what size is your wrist. Mine is 17 cm. I think the watch is an elegant size. Happy New Year. ...

Is the 5970.. Better proportion of size to thickness - so would wear better on the wrist movement size to diameter isnt so noticeable.. But my pick would be the G.. don’t like shrunken numbers in the P Tried it recently - and it’s unforgettable ...  

For me I love the 3970P. Pure understated class. I love the proportions. Right up my alley. Love the photos in this thread.

It has to be the 5970. It’s rarer, and the larger case fits your wrist better. For me I think the 3970, but I will secretly pine for the 5970. No wrong choice either one of them. Thinking of exiting too. But I’ve gone from being the hunter to the hunted. ... 

Perhaps you could exit with one and come back with the other )) Obviously no one wants you out, or maybe just your banker 😅
