Mechanical reason 3rd party strap can't be installed on 5712/1A?
Aug 19, 2020,03:29 AM
Various strap vendors offer calf, croc, rubber, etc replacement straps for stainless steel bracelets (eg Rolex Daytona stainless steel), however I can't find a vendor that makes a strap for the Patek 5712/1A. I know the 5712/1A bracelet is beautiful however if one wanted to occasionally switch to another strap... that's not possible? Has anyone looked into this?
Best,
Robert

The stainless steel case doesn't feature the more robust attachment apparatus of the gold cases. Best, Robert
