Welcome my brand new 5146R to the family. Notice she is dressed in shiny black for a more faaancy look 
While undressing her.. I was immediately taken back by her simplistic beauty. The finish is so sharp. The RG really POPS!
The fit and feel is perfect.. light on the wrist but distinctively
noticeable. The dial seems to be just right. Not too big.. not too
small. All the functions are easily recognizable.. much easier to read
than the 5140. I could not be more pleased with her.

Extremely legible. Much more than I thought from the standard photograph from the Patek website and pictures of the G and J I saw. I took a chance on the RG without seeing it in person and there were barely any shots of it on the forums. Couldn't be more ...

The shiny black strap compliments the RG perfectly! Much better fit for the piece than the original matte brown it came with. Changes the watch from a daily to more of a dress piece in my opinion.

It was a toss up between this and the 5140.. I know Perp vs. AC.. no comparison.. however, that didn't matter to me. The clean, legible and beautifully spaced out dial of the 5146 did it for me. I couldn't read the 5140.. the dial was too bunched together...

The 5146 is a great piece and your lovely photos do it full justice. The only thing that photos don't appear to do very well, is show exactly how warm a watch made from RG looks. I have had the pleasure to have owned two 5146 J&G and so can fully apprecia...

The dial of the 5146 is much more legible, crisp, and well spaced compared to the 5140. It was a toss up between the two.. and the 5146 won.. the dial is simply perfect in my eyes. Your right, the RG is so sharp.. I tried on both the G and J without ever ...
