Extremely legible. Much more than I thought from the standard photograph from the Patek website and pictures of the G and J I saw. I took a chance on the RG without seeing it in person and there were barely any shots of it on the forums. Couldn't be more ...

It was a toss up between this and the 5140.. I know Perp vs. AC.. no comparison.. however, that didn't matter to me. The clean, legible and beautifully spaced out dial of the 5146 did it for me. I couldn't read the 5140.. the dial was too bunched together...
