Well..
It was a toss up between this and the 5140.. I know Perp vs. AC.. no comparison.. however, that didn't matter to me. The clean, legible and beautifully spaced out dial of the 5146 did it for me. I couldn't read the 5140.. the dial was too bunched together, and it just didn't strike me as much to be honest.

Extremely legible. Much more than I thought from the standard photograph from the Patek website and pictures of the G and J I saw. I took a chance on the RG without seeing it in person and there were barely any shots of it on the forums. Couldn't be more ...

The shiny black strap compliments the RG perfectly! Much better fit for the piece than the original matte brown it came with. Changes the watch from a daily to more of a dress piece in my opinion.
