I was (and still am) very happy with my purchase of the 5960P
In fact, I bought 4 PPs in the past year and the 5960P was one of
my favourites, alongside a 5712R. However, a problem is a problem
and I am just reporting and sharing my experience (and also what I was
told by my AD). No question of my being unhappy with my purchase!

even though it has developed this problem. I'm sure Patek will be able to iron this out.
I agree...Patek will get it right
....and if you love the watch and if buying for yourself.......who cares if it will be 'shunned by future collectors'? ;-) .if you are planning on re-sale - then it is a diffrent story....stilll...Patek will get it right ,so I would not worry about it muc...

and for me as well, 5960P is the most favorite patek so far, even after learning this failure report. concerning this, pls keep us informed, if there's any new info. TIA HB
