Due to all that, the 3712 rose in value like a meteor.
Judging by this, rather than be worried about future collector's value: if a PP watch has technical problems, run to the AD and get one as soon as possible!

even though it has developed this problem. I'm sure Patek will be able to iron this out.
I agree...Patek will get it right
....and if you love the watch and if buying for yourself.......who cares if it will be 'shunned by future collectors'? ;-) .if you are planning on re-sale - then it is a diffrent story....stilll...Patek will get it right ,so I would not worry about it muc...
