But I also believe I understood what you meant when you said it's the most boring watch "right now". Today with IG, more than ever before you can see where trends are going and what the "it" watch is. Seems like anyone who ever had a chance ever to hold their buddy's 5711 in their hands is throwing up a picture on their account to be the cool guy. Now, unfortunately, I feel like everything has become a little boring. My personal "one day" grails would be a custom Sarpaneva Moonface and an MB&F LM2, but perhaps in 10 to 20 years from now (when I could potentially afford the bloody things) I may think those are boring too.🤷♂️

This watch is THE most boring watch on the planet at the moment. The most posted watch on IG It is so over rated it’s unbelievable. At best it is average as a sports watch and that’s being kind. M.

I am so disappointed that this is where the market seems to be. At absolute best this watch is a very low rated sports watch. Made by Patek and hard to buy at retail. Other than that please enlighten me what is it??? M.
I don’t consider it a sports watch myself.
I got it because I love the case shape, case thinness and the blue shades on the dial. I can wear it with all outfit. Very versatile for me.

I tend to agree with both you and Miles 🙈 The 5711 has a sportiness about it. It has a certain design flair. But at the same time it is stunning to me that it gets the attention that it does. It’s a sporty watch but not a sports watch for me. Easy to wear...
