I really wanted to love the 5204
But the super luminova markers really put me off. I also felt the proportions were alittle off. A 40mm dial is great, but the thickness makes it feel odd on the wrist. The 5370 or 5372 are better alternatives for me. Congratulations! Don’t get me wrong it’s still considered a titan grand complication!

What a great piece! Will take some more photos when auction season is over and I have a bit more time. There are three things I would do to make it perfect but it still warrants a 8.5/10 rating! ...
To get 10/10 for me I would like:
Rectangular pushers, a tachymetre scale and enamel dial to make it completely perfect.
But i hope you won t customize it accordingly?!
It s a perfect piece imho and i c tge reson why it was built w/o tachy scale .is it blk email dial right? Enjoy it !
Hi it’s one Patek which is on my grail list and would do it for 50th birthday...
It’s fantastic and if it had baguette indexes it would have been a 10/10 for me .

... it is amazing how flat and mat the dial of 5204 looks. Is it just me who feels so?
It is my photo skills! I have it next to four 5970s and a 5070 and it is very similar.
Obviously the 5370 is on a different level.

I appreciate the nice words. I am lucky to own some great pieces and each of them have their pros and cons which is what makes collecting so enjoyable. I have yet to find the perfect dress watch, and in many ways I wish I don’t ever so it keeps the hobby ...
