but I have noticed that you have been posting a lot on this site lately and this latest post of yours makes me wonder if you are simply posting for the sake of posting. Excuse my candour bordering on rudeness but that is how many purists would consider this particular topic. An unnecessary post in my opinion.

PP's quartz movements are not exactly "cheap". And wasn't PP on the forefront of quartz development, when it came into fashion?
Warren Buffet used to fancy a Quartz ref 3944, so I suppose you'd be in good company.
