Patek Philippe

Really think hard about getting the Nautilus 5711, with a couple of consideration. Firstly is of course the dial colour, the fantastic blue (or is it black or grey) which is always classy and mysterious with the tone changes VS the refreshing white, which... 

"You can choose any color as long it's black". That was about the T-model. To me Nautilus is with blue-gray-black dial. That is a part of the character of the watch. White looks nice but it is too bright and too "obvious". I am wearing my 3712 with shorts...

Versatile, it was, as you stated it perfectly. I had to sell it for two reasons: To fund the 5070, and because I was a bit tired of the moonphase you always have to set when you don't wear the watch for a xhile. Now, you don't have this problem with the 5... 

I personally like the blue dial better. Wears great both casually and formally. Nautilus is a very elegant and at the same time practical timepiece. I have a 5712/1A and it wears just perfect in almost all occasions.

basically the same size as the 5711. As others have said, no problem wearing it in almost any situation. Usually looks blue, but happens to look gray in this pic. ...  

I'm a 5712 owner but they are very close regarding your questions. I just can confirm all you think about it, and it is even more obvious in real life. I made a review of the 5712 that you can read for colors and dimensions ... (the movement is different ...

It actually led me to a follow-up purchase for the 5711, after finding out the very limitation of the 5205g. But no regrets as I now have two watches for different occasions. Love them both! Between the blue or white, I'd go for the blue. It is just what ... 

It is a very nice watch, with a beautiful blue dial that is a soft medium to dark blue. It is very subtle and casual. My only criticism would be that the bracelet feels not worth the Patek premium. Others will no doubt disagree. It may not live up to the ...
