Really think hard about getting the Nautilus 5711, with a couple of consideration.

Firstly is of course the dial colour, the fantastic blue (or is it black or grey) which is always classy and mysterious with the tone changes VS the refreshing white, which somehow makes the watch less classy (not in a bad way) and makes it feel and look "younger" (lack of a better word to word to describe that i can think of, pardon my english)

Secondly is the versatility of the watch. Is is versatile enough for a casual weekend where you just feel like wearing your bermuda with flip flop. While the watch will be mostly under my cuff at work, versatility is always a factor to consider.

Any thoughts and opinion. If any kind owners would like to provide some pictures of your casual moments wearing your Nautilus, it will be most welcome.

Versatile, it was, as you stated it perfectly.

I had to sell it for two reasons: To fund the 5070, and because I was a bit tired of the moonphase you always have to set when you don't wear the watch for a xhile.

Now, you don't have this problem with the 5711.

A cool watch, vety polyvalent, too.

Blue dial for me... Not the white dial, which I find to look cheap. While the blue is just fascinating.

I personally like the blue dial better. Wears great both casually and formally. Nautilus is a very elegant and at the same time practical timepiece. I have a 5712/1A and it wears just perfect in almost all occasions.

basically the same size as the 5711.  As others have said, no problem wearing it in almost any situation.  Usually looks blue, but happens to look gray in this pic.

I'm a 5712 owner but they are very close regarding your questions.

I just can confirm all you think about it, and it is even more obvious in real life.

I made a review of the 5712 that you can read for colors and dimensions ... (the movement is different though).

But I must say each time I look at it, still after more than 2 months, I'm still mazed by its dial.

And as you said, very versatile as you can wear it any time.

The blue one is definitely the one I would choose again. Sometime black, sometime one kind of blue, or another ...

Hard to make a mistake with this one.

I tried the white one but it's really different. Much sportier and less harmonized as the indexes are much less integrated in the dial. Question of what you want of course.

It actually led me to a follow-up purchase for the 5711, after finding out the very limitation of the 5205g. But no regrets as I now have two watches for different occasions. Love them both!

Between the blue or white, I'd go for the blue. It is just what Nautilus is, and when you look at the porthole to see the water it is blue. Although if you look upward, it is white. As the Nautilus model, I find the 5711 to be simpler to maintain... As one rightly mentioned here, there is no need to change moon phases as can be the case for the 5712 and the 5726.

It is a very nice watch, with a beautiful blue dial that is a soft medium to dark blue. It is very subtle and casual. My only criticism would be that the bracelet feels not worth the Patek premium. Others will no doubt disagree. It may not live up to the Patek name if you compare it to the big-big Pateks. Have some perspective, don't be so serious, and enjoy this handsome watch for what it is.
