I though seriously about getting one a while back. My biggest hesitation was that I truly wanted a Perpetual Calendar, so I held out for the 5320g. What you are looking at is such a fine , classically styled watch. You won’t go wrong!
i like the watch, however it really bothers me that the hands permanently obscure the view on the 24 on the sub dial. Seems strange but that makes it for me a no go. Did I succeed 😀? Dirk

You are absolutely right. If we can't distinguish day from night anymore there is more wrong than your watch 😉 For now my heart beats faster for the R.
It bothers me too, because I find it redundant. I know it assists setting but at the same time it is displaying time too. But something were of a minor issue. My choice: clearly the R! A very cool, unusual watch that will match to the colour of a whisky ....
This Patek is not iconic, and will be a loser in resale. It is not a true collector's item (currently) and it has no history of being more desirable than a woman's 24.... (give or take.) It is 'just another Patek especially these days in super soft market...
