Patek Philippe

Hi alwoo888, thanks for your kind message ! Both champleve enamel and Japanese hand painted laquar are rare handcrafts and are both amazing !

Both have 3D effects and very vibrant in terms of colors ! IMO, the enamel work by Anita Porchet is more difficult because the dial needs to be filled with enamel powders and then fired at 800 degrees Celsius over several stages. Each stage runs the risk of bubbles and thus complete wastage with work to start all over again ! According to a recent discussion between a PuristPro moderator and Anita Porchet at the New York exhibition on the Rousseau Lion, Anita told him that, although the focus of the dial is

Lion in the headlight with a comical look !

These leaves with realistic stems were the biggest challenges for Anita Porchet !

on the Lion, the three leaves (below the Lion) and their stems were most difficult and challenging to create ! So please look closely and appreciate the leaves also ! Cheers, Gordon
