Very nice smoked effect on the dial, clearly the best version.
Very elegant and timeless. Imo, a bit to elegant for my current lifestyle - and a bit too high and chunky for an elegant piece. I still much enjoyed wearing it.
Love the design and functionality of the 5205 ! IMO It is more ...
contemporary vs 5235 which is more classic.

I think Patek recently made great line up on their Annual Calendar, the 5205 has a very nice touch of modernity with cleaner and sleeker dial with very nice design on the profile of the case. The blue one, by far is my favourite one, you should go for it!...
I'm probably in the minority here, but my personal preference is for the R over the G for the 5205 (both still in the catalog and of course at the same price).
It's a most elegant piece though, in either declination! Wish you the best in seizing one.
A Patek will always be special...
However as I've gotten older I prefer simple uncluttered dials. If I hit the lotto I'll sign up for a Patek 3939
I think you have to see this type of dial in person to decide
And ideally in your typical lighting conditions (not necessarily dealer lighting).
Itโs a handsome watch but...
...I found the blue dial darker in real life than the press shots. For me the dial was too dark and I chose something else in the end. However, if I had bought it I am sure I would have been happy with it.
i would rather buy another PP rather than 5205G, since you already have a very nice 5960P

Used to like the G series a lot too
But realized the leaf hands are still more sensual and befitting on the 5960. Personal taste of course

That press picture is not representative of the blue gradient dial, which appears much darker in person. It would have been great if the dial was as pictured. The Beyer limited edition is a true blue (although non-gradient). But that one is extremely limi...
Don't Like the Case of this one.
With the Sides curved inwards and outwards and the watch having a lot of height it Looks good from the top, but Not from the Side view.
It felt small??...
on my 18.25cm wrist, 40mm (the size of my Sub) for a dress watch is as big as I'd like to go...

To my eye it's a bit chunky and...
...the sub-dial (being overlapped significantly by the hands) is a mess...very poor planning. Either make the sub-dial smaller or get rid of it and leave only a larger moon phase... My .02.
