For me the 5130 is more under radar elegant and 5230 more in your face elegant. 5130 more laid back soft touch and 5230 more sharp dressed.
It really comes down to need. I personally favor the 5130 as a lifestyle companion but if I was looking for something for this moments of evening dress ups I would go 5230... but for a pick of one or would be 5130...

When the 5130 was released even though the size looked more modern, personally I did not like the hours hand, it was always preventing me from liking this watch (and still) I believe that the dial as well as the hours hand on the “new” 5230 are nicer. As ...

i prefer the 5230 over the 5130 because of the guilloche finishing & the case (size & shape). but if the 5110 was put into the comparison=5110 > 5230 > 5130 the guilloche, case size, shape & proportion are just perfect IMHO cheers
