Best way to remove the threaded portion of a broken dial screw?
I have experience working on Rolex, but this is only my 2nd Patek. It's a 23-300 and, wouldn't you know it, right off the bat, I'm foiled by this broken dial screw (the head is missing and only the threaded portion of the screw remains in the plate):
Since the dial's stuck onto the plate due to the broken screw, I can't disassemble and soak the plate alum. Does anyone know of an alternative way to remove this broken screw?

Here is something you might want to try.
Take a piece of steel wire that is the same diameter as the hole for the screw. Turn the end down in the lathe till it is about 3/4 the size of threaded part remaining. And dress the tip with even cuts so it is jagged. (gives the wire a little bite, to gr...
