Patek Philippe

Gentlemen, The Only Watch auction will be held in November 2015 and, as you maybe already know, many brands create a unique timepiece for this event. Patek Philippe has thus unveiled for Only Watch 2015 a model based on the watch which was produced betwee...  

This one is gorgeous, the dial, steel case, the new details... I suppose it will reach 3 million or so. And it will not be me ;-)

Cutting off the dates is inexcusable.

In fact there are not many watches with 0 flaws. And I would say it often makes the charm of a piece. I don't have personally problem with partial figures but I understand you point of course. My pleasure and thanks for your opinion :) Cheers.

that finally Patek Philippe is offering their marvellous pieces in more mundane metals, such that the mere mortals have a better chance to afford it ;-). Honestly, I think this is a really pure interpretation of an icon. In respect to the leap year indica...  

Many thanks for the renditions. While I understand what you're saying, my personal view is they should have left it in its original form, albeit with this beautiful blue enamel dial. That, together with the stainless steel case, would have been more than ... 

from an aesthetic perspective I would prefer the very right one, but I reckon that this might be too 'breguesque'... On the other hand, what is a watch which pleases at first sight? I just love small imperfections and character. Best, Magnus

move the Patek Philippe name lower to the level of the center with Patek to the left and Philippe to the right of the center. This change would allow the leap year window to be lowered , thus not cutting into the 15 and 17. Please can you do a rendition b...

Concerning the windows thanks for the work magnus I think it is the best place anyway regarding the movement. In fact they upsized the date window's frame but when looking at the original 5016, it seem, when looking at the 2 other windows, that they moved... 

blue is such a great color for dials and this piece is not exception! However if I had a pick in this year's Only Watch it would with no doubt be the blue dialed FPJ. Wow and again wow. Followed by this blue wonder from PP… but a slightly distant second p... 

even if I prefer dark blue tone. I saw the FPJ in Tantalum on pics and it indeed looks really nice :) Thanks for chimming in Keks, the 5016A is really a beauty. Cheers, Mark
