About strap and 5960s
If I were to purchase a 5960/1A, that's what I would do (found for instance on some UN watches):
As for the 5960P Grey, you saw it way before me but I see that we had the same splendid experience!
Yes indeed, I think that we all have the same issue, whatever the brand is, we find too much models perfect to our tastes.
The 5905P has a different layout and is a great Patek. It has a littlle more dressy/classical touch because of the dial's decoration (2 inner silver rings, the pushers etc...). The fact it doesn't have the PR indicator or an chrono hour hand anymore is not a problem for me but this is a matter each owner has to find its own answer to.
Furthermore, the size is not the same (+1.5mm) and, in that field, the bigger 5905 (which doesn't look that big by the way) fills something that many clients were asking for.
When I'm in your situation, I really take my time in order to really find which one is best, aside of the fact I can have 2 for the price of another one. When there are too many choices, I usually separate them and study them as stand-alones, how I would wear it, the things I like etc...
There are the ones forums love and I think this is a mistake to be too much influenced by this. They put forward the good questions though and underline what they offer and this is somehting that should really be heard. But that's all.
You never know how the watches will be appreciated in the future. Tastes evolve and the ones on the top today can be ranked differently in 10 years or more from now.
The ones who give advice are not the ones who pay

Do not hesitate to ask for more questions about them if needed.
Cheers, Mark
