A seriously great watch.
And for me also birth of a legend was a very powerful emotion trigger. I think this watch is still the most underrated watch in platinum ever created by Patek Philippe and will always be in my top 3 favourite watches. Why it’s not more popular is a mystery to me. The original for me with this dial and the Geneva seal will always be my 5960p. Ticks so many boxes has historic importance and just happens to be drop dead on the wrist.

A local (secondary, used) dealer has 5960/1a white, G/ blue dial, and the original 5960p sitting next to each other, behind the vitrine. I can't help but imagine some trading scenarios. Regards, chk
