I was lucky to see one in the street in NYC back in 2007, on the wrist of a complete stranger. Maybe one day... As to its steel sibling, it is firmly into unobtainium territory for me, but I find it even more appealing with its black indices and hands cre...  

...but a tad on the thick side. But I don't like the way the date numerals are flipped. For some reason my eye goes right to them and it bugs me...

...In some photos (or maybe different iterations), the numerals are less bold and it's not as noticeable. Except for a few versions of PP's vintage PCs and ACs, Patek has been flipping their numerals. Too bad as I'm not rich enough to get a one-off dial..... 

Although very thick, it’s smallish diameter helps that. Very nice in Pt.

Is one of those watches that meant nothing to me in pictures. I saw one in person a few years ago and WOW! my mind really changed. If I could only have one Patek Philippe, the 5004 might well be “IT”.

If you were to choose between the 5004 and the 5950, which would you pick Nico
