5712R for me...

I own the 5980 R and the rose gold is amazing on this piece--so warm and elegant. I would imagine it would be the same for the 5712R.

I have a 5712R and my friend is offering to exchange his 5712G for mine. Which one do you think looks nicer and will be good to keep in long run ? Thanks for all opinion.

I have a 5712r and love it. I really like the dial of the g model but rose is much more popular over the g not the 1a model.
+1 for rose gold

Well, IMHO the nautilus was meant to be a sports watch that's why stainless steel should suit this timepiece better, i think precious metals such as gold and platinum should be left for dressy watches as a symbol of classicism and elegance or wealth, of c...

I love G for its unassuming profile and versatility. When you are in an unexpected moment, for the undiscerning eyes, it can pass as a steel watch.

I prefer it as it flies under the radar.
Lovely comments.

Thank you all. For me now is 80% to keep, and 20% the exchange. :o For myself, I also love the R much more; but somehow I heard from somewhere (sometimes ago) that G is worth keeping than R. For which, I dont quite agree. ???
I love them all.

While the Nautilus is designed for sports use and so it's understandably many would prefer the 1A, I don't care too much about that. I came across the three versions one by one (rose, white, then steel) from the same AD, and instead of three different ver...

Have to say we have very similar likings. My collection is 5712a, 5712R, and 5980a. They all are lovely. Only problem is it SCRATCES very easily.
