Patek Philippe

After years looking for one of my grail watches, picked up my 5101P today. A magnificent art deco case, nowadays unseen. And the salmon dial - to die for. Needless to say I have been staring at my wrist the entire day. The visit to the PateK Philippe Salo...  

I was bidding on one of these at Christie’s this week. Sadly just missed out but will get one eventually. Beautiful piece!

This reference has always intrigued me and I have wanted for a long time to put one on my wrist but have failed so far. The complication is subtle and the case so elegant. And that dial?? Wow stunning perfect Salmon tone. Wear and stare in good health my ... 

I don’t play in the same league but if I did... until then I shall content myself with perhaps the second best non-round watch. ...
