When I had the Toric QP on my wrist, I don't recall having the sensation of struggling to read the subdials. Of course things were moving fairly quickly and I was carrying on multiple conversations simultaneously so I can't say with certainty that I focused at length on the legibility of the perpetual calendar presentation.

Do you think the subdials’ lettering and numbers look a bit too muted or washed out as well, or is it just my eyes?

The typeface is verging on 'light' rather than medium...
...a tad thicker would help. I understand going for an aesthetic, but watches also have purposes other than being 'art.' If they cannot be easily read, some of their purpose is diminished...
I’m with Aymen on this, the lettering is way light for my old eyes to see clearly.
I do like the light blue and think a two hander with that dial would be totally amazing.
Definitely a classy timepiece but with a casual flair.
Parmigiani is doing wonderful things with colors, both on dials and straps and the combination of the two.

Getting the right dial / strap combo can dramatically enhance the look of a watch and consequently its commercial success or failure. I think CEO Guido "gets it" when it comes to watch aesthetics. Thanks for commenting. M4
I really like all these new Parmigiani releases.
The white gold and platinum with the blue dials are my favourites and the new straps really go so well with these watches and really enhance them, Now that the intention of PF has been detailed I think they have hit and exceeded what they intended. Marc
