What’s it been like living with this GMT? I am considering selling some of my watches in order to get this meterorite dial. The combination of Rolex engineering and this dial is very compelling!
I was infatuated with this watch since it’s a release…

…and wasn’t until very recently that I pulled the trigger. it very much lives up to the expectations. Imo, it’s a near perfect watch and really couldn’t be happier…but there are a few things: -it’s hefty, Rolex WG feels almost like platinum for other brands, it took a couple weeks of non-stop wearing for me to get used it. Now I really enjoy the weight, very solid. It’s also interesting the WG has a warm luster/hue. hard to describe, it doesn’t really come out in pictures -at certain angles / lighting dial readability can be slightly challenging but usually a half degree turn of the wrist fixes it. the way the light plays with the patterning on the dial makes up for any illegibility. I’ve worn it for almost a month straight, and the timing has been great, easily within the +/-2s range. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask, it really is an amazing piece, I’ll likely pass this down…don’t see myself ever selling it.
Thanks very much for your helpful additional thoughts.

I don’t mind heavy watches. I currently have a James Cameron which must be a bit lighter than you GMT but within the same ballpark. The weight feels heavy in the hand but, when it’s wrapped around the wrist, it’s fine. I could live with slight legibility issues for that dial! Thanks again, Jon
