Before the Black Bay GMT, I said that the Rolex GMT MASTER was a milestone. It still is, by the way...
But the Black Bay GMT has been unveiled... And when you compare both of them, with a side by side picture, I dare asking, once again: Which one is your favorite?
My bet? The Tudor will win your votes...

Rolex wins by a mile and a half. that bezel is a killer and new jubilee bracelet is very nice looking as well.
just not feeling the Tudor here for some reason. strikes me a touch flat in the look.
but perhaps I need to see one in the real to form a real opinion. so far only seen photos of both.
I like the bezel of the Tudor
but would in the end go with the "original" as the hands are more consistent with the historic pieces and more to my liking, but I agree, tough call.
The hands are Rolex all day. All other attributes...
Case, bezel, crown, I choose Tudor. Dials are about a wash, the oversized Rolex date is a detail I have never enjoyed, but I do prefer the Rolex minute track pushed outward.
I won't buy either, because I just don't care for the Tudor hands, and there is too much about the Rolex overall I don't like at all. Now, if the Tudor had the Rolex hands, I might go for it.
I think it's deceiving to judge These only from the top View.
I've Had a red black bay and Sold it after a few months. While I loved the look of it when looking directly from above, I soon realised that I didn't like at all its "bulky" Look from the Side. If the GMT has the Same "bulky" case, I Most definitly prefer the Rolex.
Well, it seems that the case is slightly thinner on the Black Bay GMT. But let's say 5-0 for Rolex. [nt]

Whilst the Tudor comes close to the photo in real life...
... the Rolex looks totally different than the photoshopped catalogue picture.
The real color hue of the GMT Master bezel is a massive turn off to me. So for that reason I‘d go for the Tudor without hesitation between those two.

I prefer the Tudor, more classic and vintage looking
As mentionned before the color of the bezel on the Rolex are very different in real, going from pinkish to purple.
Rolex for me - I like the look with that bracelet.
Whilst I like the Tudor hands normally this watch is a couple of snowflakes too far for me and although I don’t know the comparative thickness of the two watches I find the Black Bay looks too thick for me. Regards Kev.

It’s true rival is the s/s Sky Dweller in many respects
The Tudorwatch is pure tool watch, with Vintage heritage albeit from the big brother
For me its hard to say, jeans and travel Tudor

Both are nice watches, the Tudor with a touch of Vintage, Rolex is timeless
The point is, for one Rolex GMT you get two Tudor GMT. So the question is, do you like two Tudor GMT, or one Rolex GMT. Tudor Black Bay are fantastic watches, but a Rolex GMT is Rolex.

The Rolex for me
Based on the following factors:
1. The Tudor is slightly larger and a lot thicker than the Rolex making it for me, less wearable.
2. The Jubilee bracelet on the Rolex although not popular with everyone, is more comfortable than the Tudor.
3. The Rolex has a daily tolerance of +2/-2 making it more accurate than the Tudor's COSC +6/-4.
4. The Rolex will be a better investment in the short term and long term than the Tudor.
5. The Rolex comes with a five year warranty!
6. The ceramic bezel on the Rolex is added plus.
A lot thicker? I am not totally sure. But you have a clear favorite, so: 4 - 9 for Rolex. [nt]

I should have just said thicker (something about the 14mm height of the Tudor bothers me! lol)
Now we have the answer. The Tudor is 2 mm thicker. Which is consequent. And surprising, because on pictures, I wouldn't have said that the difference is so important. [nt]

as you are the expert on all things relating to watches. The Tudor is just too thick which is why the Tudor 58 is such a huge step forward for Tudor with its slimmer case and 2mm smaller size.
I totally understand that. The Fifty Eight is another watch to consider. Damn, two Tudors in the same year, it will be a premiere for me. ;) [nt]
