How annoying! We can accept the fine scratches or "haze" and swirls of daily wear on our bracelets but severe gouges cannot so easily be reconciled in our psyche. The first is just Life's swirling patina but the latter is a flagrant assault on senses and ... 

... and the scratch on the fourth is kept as a warning to oneself ... This is not too bad for a collateral damage, shoulder and knee are much more important. Btw, Dr. Frank Müller once told me that, when he had worked at IWC, they had received a Grande Co... 

But as others have mentioned bracelet can be changed and it surely shows much more in photo than in reality. More important is that you managed not to be hurt too badly. Bon courage !
