Just picked this up for my cousin and I just realized that under certain lighting, the composite case, remind me a lot of the PVD coating on OP6500 case
Would be nice if Panerai comes up with a re-edition of simple PVD models , like PAM 4 & PAM 9

Was initially put off by the negative reports with the "peeling" reported with the material. However, having tried the 505 recently, I must say I much prefer them to the ceramic.
The look and weight , in relation to ceramic, makes them a more viable choice, IMO. So much so that am actively looking for a 339 now
Very handsome model the 504 IMO....
now let's see if they will...finally...manage to complete the "375" project, now that they have stabilized this..problematic..material
