Forget about the overhyped limited editions.

The 339 looks good but the 339 should have been the only composite. The 382 is nice but afterall it's just a bronze diver. 249 california dial is not bad But how many times did they use this dial already ?

Than you have the 26, 28 and extremely overhyped 360 ( which is just a pvd 005)

Also forget the zillion boutique editions.

 

For me the 2 most beautilfull they offer are 2 non limited  base pieces

being the  372

and for a radiomir my choice is the 425 ( with gold hands probably nicer than the 449 with blue hands)

I'm wearing this watch for one week, it belongs to a good friend.

It's perfect, the pig dial  is not a big issue, you barely see it.

Like said ( but I agree this is personal opinion) If you have a 372 and a 425 you don't need a third Panerai

The PAM372 for me is the "best" Luminor ever for the price.  It's going to be extremely difficult for Panerai to beat this model.

The PAM425, it's not the most beautiful for me but very close.  Since I'm not of a fan of the pig at 6 o'clock but I do have to admit Panerai did an excellent job with making it look very subtle on the dial, I'm hoping Panerai comes out with a regular edition without the pig someday but if they do, it'll probably be a different dial color or different luminova color which will definitely change the look of this marvelous piece.

In any case, I'd be extremely content with having both these pieces   You can have lots of fun putting on different straps with theses beauties.

For a two watch collection you would be in Panerai heaven and happy.

But soo hard to stop when you have the Panerai bug.

me? I prefer the 373 to its "piggied" version..

...you can have your 373, Sergio - I love the 449's blue-framed hands (and black dial)

but it's the tobacco dial that makes the difference.. Besides, you can't make an ABSOLUTE statement like...best EVER.....and excludesome models from the possible selection. That's exactely what I was underlying...ABSOLUTE are cumbersome and must be used...wisely

...the only precious metal, aside from Palladium, that I like - but I was referring to the hands...

For mr has to be 372 and 232

And if the small egyziano comes it had to be 3

like I said elsewhere congratulations (to your friend) - the 425 is a great PAM, one of the best in a long while. And lest I forget, those photographs are fantastic - I love the way you managed to capture the "S.L.C." engraving on the inner-side of the case!

And no, there are at least a dozen PAMS / Pre-Vs / Vintage I would need to own before saying, "No thanks, I'm good." ... ha!

The nicest Panerai ever...

Agreed that the 372 is one of the most interesting modern Panerai, while the other with its maiale on the dial is just non sense...

A strange pasta by Panerai... It would have been much better without, end that is the interest of its twin in LE... LE, sadly....
