Hello Panerai lovers!
As I explained in my Rolex forum posts I took four watches to my short three days business trip to the seaside.
Work left me enough time to visit several places to enjoy good meals and sea views and enjoy some watch photography with a nice and different background than the usual ones at home.
The big MM always looks good by the sea. It’s natural environment I feel!

Two favorite of mine too John. The MM inscription on dial makes them double desirable for a Panerai lover...
... I got my 587 in 2014 and this one arrived last year.
Though I have certain preference for the 587 for personal reasons this one got a lot of DNA as well and the MM inscroption made it irresistible! Lol!

... where two large stone lions stand at the "Rambla" by the sea. A large colony resides in a reserve inside the fishing port and they play in the water for the tourists.

What an enabler you are ;-) I love my 673 too and will wear it tomorrow in your honor! The 587 is great too -- quite similar. I wonder how the 720/721 compares -- no MM though ;-)

... 587 and 673 are very desirable as sharing the MM inscription on dial. This is a very attractive detail for Paneristi I feel.
In any case I find the 587 and 673 have quite different personalities: the 587 is more subtle and delicate, the 673 has a more brutal or stronger look and with the crown bridge most people associate with the brand.Both have their own charm!
I haven´t seen the 720/721 in the metal yet. But I like them so much.

The 720 with inscriptions reminds me of the 232 which I like so much but I never could find one for my collection. The 721 is very attractive as a replica of a German swimmer watch.
I have not decided which of the two I would buy, but definitively I will go after one of them.
Both are storical models which is what I specially like among the many different Panerai models offered by the brand.

Wow Abel -- both the watch and the setting!
The 587 may be my favorite Panerai. I searched for a long time but could never quite find one. But the 673 was still available. The dial, hands, and crystal all work together beautifully on these two, not to mention the MM inscription. If the 720 and 721 approach the beauty of the 587 and 673, they will be special indeed.

Thanks a lot John for your kind comments. That shot was taken just minutes after taking delivery of my watch at the Paris Boutique and just a couple of hours before my plane departure...
... to return to my Country.
It was November 2014 and had been hunting the 587 in many boutiques in Italy and France without luck (the model had just began to be distributed then) when a lucky call at last moment before departure made me a happy owner of this watch. I was accompanied by my daughter in that occassion to make the moment more unforgettable and all the thrill of the hunt and the final purchase in haste comes to my mind everytime I wear this lovely watch.
I feel you still will find one if you search, but the 673 is a wonderful sustitute anyway.
I´m sure the 720/721 will be very worth to include in a serious collection of Panerai.

Find pros and cons for both . Both are amazing so actually you can’t go wrong with either one.
