But the 372 is a terrific piece as well.  In some ways I prefer it to the 127 since I like the simpler dial without the sub-second register.  IMO the 372 made it hard to justify the asking prices for the 127, although they've certainly come down quite a bit the last few years.  Cliche maybe, but really no wrong choice here.

I'd go for the 372 without a moment's hesitation. Easy to find, good value for money etc etc Ciao

The 372 is one of their best all round values.
But the 127 if you can pull it off just has a little extra history to enjoy and put a little extra bounce in your step.
The 249 is also a corner stone of the collection.
