comfortable to wear partially more comfortable as a 47mm . Still a harmonized dial. And I like the thin case with its p4000

Love the 572. I'm leaning to a 573 at the moment. The p4000 movement really makes this watch seem more elegant.

45 mm is not tiny as per Panerai standards. My first Panerai is a 111 which has a 44 mm case.
Also my 190 and 210 Radiomir have a 45 mm case.

Last month I introduced my wife to the World of Panerai when I presented her with a Pam 676 Due which sports an "only" 42 mm case!

The Due line is very charming and I feel it is a very interesting approach of Panerai to tempt those watch lovers who like the story and design of the brand but feel that the 47 mm is too much for their wrists.
As a matter of fact 47 mm can be very big for those who have a too thin wrist, and a 45 or 42 mm case can be the right answer for them.

My wife is very excited with her 676 and she even asked me to buy another set of straps (OEM geen alligator) which give a very trendy look to her watch.

Your 572 is a very very beautiful watch with all the Panerai DNA on it! Enjoy in good health my friend!

The leather straps takes to water well?

... sprinkled some water on the watch to add a visual interest to the shot. I inmediately dried it with a towel after a few shots.
In my experience with Panerai, these alligator straps can stand an occasional splash or even a swim or two, but they are not designed to be taken to water, or it will deterioriate, specially on the threads and leather backing.
They are too fine and costly for that use.
Even the OEM calf leather straps are not for swimming I feel.
There are some leather straps made by custom strap makers which are offered with an special treatment to withstand a rathehr constant exposure to water, e.g. diving, but in any case I think that if you with to wear the watch in a pool, lake or sea, the best option is a rubber or nylon strap.

Disadvantage on them

there is nothing I can add. U put it perfectly to the point. Except : congrats to the due . Beautiful watch. Did your wave went into the water with that strap ?
