How do you achieve that…do you have your vintage pieces immediately serviced and request finishing to original factory specs? Or do you keep hunting for select pieces and pull the trigger only on pristine condition pieces?

That vintage Omega is in incredible condition.
I'm beginning to think you either have a picture in the attic getting very old (Dorian Gray reference) or a time machine as otherwise can't work out just how you manage to find all these vintage watches in such remarkable condition. Either way wear and enjoy them in good health.

Your watch is in a superb condition dear HSTE! Yes, this is the kind of watches which makes my heart beat very fast and steals my sleep.
I have a couple of these Fuerza Aerea Argentina Omega watches which were procured during the period of President Peron Presidency which ended in 1955.
After WW 2 Argentina was a powerful and rich Country and procured (imported from USA and Europe) ) the best in armaments and equipment for our Armed Forces... including watches from Rolex, Omega, Tudor and Heuer.
But these watches are found today (not easy to find indeed) in a very poor condition as they were used and sometimes abused during their armed forces times and then they were sold to civilian hands (wrists) who didn`t take good care of them. It is almost impossible to find an example like yours. Big congrats my dear friend: you own the best of the best.
