It is a very common issue I just recently had the same. I have the watchmaker in the UK if you don't have one.
It is not all watchmakers that can handle it. Maybe the old guys in Marseille.
I was looking at a new one the other day, but maybe I'll stay away if this is a common issue.

I've parted with one of my vintage Omegas for essentially . . .
. . . the same reason, Nicolas. Couldn't get it to run properly after extensive efforts and expense, nor was the case correctly finished. After spending more time and effort than it was worth I let it go without regret.
There will always be another.
