Obviously, Omega is going to milk this watch for all its worth. And that means, they will have a very limited amount of watches!

These will be super hard to get! They don't want to cannibalize Moonwatch sales.

Tag Heuer produced a lot of plastic formula 1 watches. And Cartier had the must de Cartier line. Hopefully Omega will snap out of it soon. I have my 3570.50 with 1861 and that is what matters to me.

Those are the two with the darker dials (Moon and Mercury I think). All of the others are clearly in the spirit of Swatch, colourful and fun. There’s no mistaking that they are Swatch. There is no mistaking that they are fashion watches. Personally I love...

It's definitely an Omega. But really it's a Swatch in disguise. But imagine a non-watch lover, who only bought an Omega purely for the label and not for the movement. He might be mad that there's an official Omega logoed watch out there for $260 USD. And ...

Re price, I think the design is worth the $260. I am loathe to buy quartz, but I have broken that rule a few times (last year with Furlan Mari). I will likely break that rule for one of these.

They didn't let me touch them, but I as told they're very light. I was told the case feels like a hard plastic and has the weight of plastic.

That's very fair and balanced! Let's see what becomes of this whole thing! I can see where you're coming with the MAD 1 Watch. But at least it doesn't say MB&F on the dial. This MoonSwatch actually says "Omega" and "Speedmaster" (in the font) on the dial!...

I think it was an Omega or Swatch executive. But also knowing how those people think, it could also be unlikely, as this is too bold and it breaks the number one rule in the luxury space - to preserve your brand's identity. And $260 plastic watches aren't... 

One thing omega has bee successful at through the colab, is creating buzz. Although, i have to agree, it looks like plastic watch.
