Omega SM gap between pusher and case
Hi all,
Hope everyone is doing well.
I thought it was just me and my Speedie, but when I look at many other SM on the net, I notice that the gap between the chrono pusher (@ 4 o’clock) and the case is wider than the one at 2 o’clock.
Is there a reason for this?

It could be the "angle" at which the pictures are taken,
Sometimes I notice "something" seems to be off on an object, space-wise, measurement-wise, but that is only because I am looking at it from a certain angle. However, when looking at said object from the right angle, all spaces and/or measurements are correct.

Not the case with my
DSOTM black black...I really like the Pitch Black though...but the next one might be Grey side.
I don't know for certain but it might be the required pusher travel to operate the lever.

Second hand sweep
I have the habit to see speed variations in the motion of the second hand.
When measure a watch, it is ok.
I lay my watches on different angles to keep it easy for a movement.
I red Louis Breguet invented the tourbillon to get rid off the problem with gravity.
Maybe every watch must contain a tourbillon for working smoothly.
Than the at 4 o’clock Speedmaster button.
The lever spring goes slowly back in position 0?
My fear is always the screw in crown.
Where is the point of overwinding?
Do i push too hard?
Do i feel no force for the moment to screw the crown right?
When screwing, what is the best force to hold and know the watch is fully protected against water?

Good observation, although I believe it is indeed the angle of the picture taken....
Even if you turn the watch just slightly one way or the other, the "gap" can change drastically and actually in some angles it will look vice versa. Try it out
Just checked my Speedy Pro.
Bottom one seems to stick out farther...
Have owned it for eight years and it is probably overdue for a service.. I think on average the top pusher is used twice as often as the bottom. So perhaps the top spring has softened a bit and it doesn't push the pusher cap out as far?
Not really a big deal as far as I’m concerned though.
Could be as you said- maybe too pusher used twice as much.
I have however noticed many others that appear this way

...or then the screw inside the pusher is getting loose (pusher turns) and then one day you will see no pusher !
It is quite common problem. Qualified watchmaker would be able to find the right answer to your question.
