It's the first regular production Omega with a co-axial escapement movement . . .
. . . and available in GMT and power reserve variations as well. They weren't exactly flying off dealer's shelves when they were in production during the first years of the century, but now that twenty years have passed they seem to be getting the benefit of a 'vintage bounce'.
Another reason for me - but there ARE exceptions which I would take although... ;-)

That looks like a great watch — and, as others have noted, the ideal strap to go with it.
I had a DeVille Hour Vision a number of years ago which I sold. The blue dial was beautiful but it never wore as comfortably as I would have liked. Enjoy yours today!
