Yes the crystal is quite something. One tends to forget that crystal was there before plexiglass. Not to say that plexi wasn't a great invention as it paved the way to truly hermetic watches, but I wonder what would have happened if one had persisted in using crystal. Off course today crystal is sort of mandatory.
A brutal beauty in its 42mm size, solid and original lugs, beefy crystal and imposingly legible lumed dial. Yet, in my opinion an elegant watch due to is rather flat format, its crenelated bezel and a beautiful crown. Turn it upside down and it is like a pebble in the hand.
