Girard-Perregaux 1957 tribute to Gyromatic

This was a 2016 limited edition that didn't really have much of a connection to the original. But it is thin and elegant and especially in person both the champagne dial and the mirror polished / brushed case are gorgeous. I don't know if it is really a tribute, but I love the vintage look.



I remember this one very well. I even took some photos in 2016. Sadly lost them. The oonly downside is the damn too centered date. Other than that, gorgeous.

The markers and hands have design similarities with my Longines, but the dial color of the GP is even more special here
