Eggshell

I love the eggshell dials, although need to seem them for real. Great new collection, but have to ask Andrew, which one is your favourite?

Favourites

Hi Dean,

All the eggshell-dialled watches were fantastic, and the combination with rose gold and black strap is perfect. And the dials are somewhat textured which is attractive to the eye and catches the light in interesting ways.

Favourites would be the Master UT Perpetual, the Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Perpetual with the delicious cylindrical balance spring; a wearable 42mm. And the Grand Reverso UT Duo which has perfect proportions and would make a wonderful work-travel-dress watch.

Here are some more photos:

Thanks Andrew,

I love all the watches you mentioned, but a little out of my budget. But I might very well consider the Master UT Moon 39,  with the "eggshell" dial. I don't think this was present in your photos though.

Great photography given the available light

And you do know how to line watches up for a perfect group shot. Excellent!

Thanks Ruckdee ...

... the light was more challenging than I expected. And I think there were a few of us arranging watches. Here are two more table shots to round off the thread.

The elaboration is very much commendable. Thanks for these pics. [nt]

Grand Reverso Lady UT Duetto

I couldn't resist sharing two more photos of the mother of pearl dials as these watches are amazing when they catch the light. So versatile for the day and the evenning.

thanks very much for the report, Andrew...

and it was a great chance to see such a wide selection of the range in the metal, from the very simple to the multi-complications.

Great photos Andrew, just a few more of my own to add from the evening.

A trio of ultra-thins.

The new ultra-thin from another angle.

In comparison, the older 34mm ultra-thins with display back look positively obese.

Really liked these calendars, both annual and perpetual.

On the wrist

A pair of deep sea alarms owned by two guests

Thanks to all involved for arranging the evening - hope we can do it again next year...

Thanks for posting a stack of Ultra Thins!

Yes, this case back on the MUT is giving some height to the watc, which is not, happily, the case on the new MUT Jubilé 39.

Great idea to have taken this shot!

Best, and thanks!

Nicolas

Absolutely superb, thank you!

What a collection from JLC. They just keep knocking it out of the park. And that reverso sun moon in platinum that one of the guests was wearing is still one of my favorites pieces of all time, any brand any era. Thanks for sharing!

Outstanding night! Great watches, great company, TOP EVENT!

You're always too kind my friend.

Thanks for contributing these excellent photos too. I didn't have the Master Dualtime Tourbillon on my wrist so much appreciated.
