Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX 2 Racing Strap Change
Had two OEM straps for this watch. Both of them were frail and didn't last long despite wearing the watch relatively seldom. Finally decided to get a custom strap from a reputable manufacturer. Black African Kudu Nubuck. Looks and feels more or less like suede with a bit of variations.
It sure looks great!
I agree that, despite looking marvelous, the OEM straps leave a bit to be desired in the durability department. Definitely a case of aesthetics over long-term durability.... Cheers, Filip
It's a Richemont thing or so it seems...
Aside from their idiotic lug sizes (19, 21, 23, etc.) their quality is way more inferior than others but nothing I've had was as bad as the two I had for this watch. They literally unraveled and fell apart.
Kudu straps are in my top 3 with suede and cardura. Your custom with orange stitching is excellent👌🏽
